Our MTB Story

About Us

From the beginning, Joe has used his bike as a way of exploring the natural world.  From steep loamers in Whistler, mega descents in Mexico, weeklong Enduro races in New Zealand or MTB triathlon in the Dolomites, Joe will find a way to surf the dirt.  While training in New Zealand, he was inspired by the enthusiasm of young riders and their thirst for progression within the sport.  Wanting to bring something different to the Vail Valley, while driving the spirit of community, the concept of Gravity Theory was born.   

Who We Are

Gravity Theory MTB Academy, located in Vail Valley, Colorado, offers kids skills camps, private coaching sessions, and convenient online registration. As one of the few GSMBC certified Mountain Bike Coaches in Eagle County, we optimize student goals with proven coaching platforms.  Our belief is that riding mountain bikes should emphasize the thrill of the ride.  Fun starts from the ground up, as we attempt to defy gravity.  We currently specialize in beginner to intermediate coaching, with the safety and enjoyment of our riders taking top priority.
